red green blue

red green blue

mechanical eyes pierce
their pixels through my
meticulously crafted vision and
sear gaping holes into my ghosts

they haunt my dionysian
daydream delirium growing
feathered sprouts along
barbed hedges surrounding
Persephone’s papered plaster garden

frenetically breathless,
i search the barrows of my
pristine and debilitating,
roving mutable hoaxes for the
cool and comforting reassurance
of my sundial glasses

blinking forests season
the multicoloured flavours
roiling toiling boiling
below the shining braided surface
of my clouded mind

a generator chill from the
spiny winter night burns
wormhole passages
through my bare bones to
warn the gathering praying parasites
colluding to purloin each and every
breath of my buried haven life

squinting,
i can see various variegated fauna
wailing for sustaining greenery etched
by sprawling scrawling syllables
animated by punctuated fables
marking semaphore soliloquies
suggesting hope for sentience
to overcome disparaging dexterity
abandoned along the perimeter
of my screen

creator

please don’t stop.

the ‘new species’ is almost complete.

the ‘seven days’ has almost come to pass.

just look out for moses and jesus wanna bee’s buzzing around your head.

they sting, but it only hurts if you forget you made them up.

handout

handout

seminary carcasses
wail retreating
licking pins
so much a crutch
so many dancers prancing
so few belong on a pew

no one knows when
will one know
when no one will
stand firm below,
will no one say no

no,
i know
not today
during the plaid parade
where shrinking wheels
trail flailed quail on display

no,
no pale pails to trade
for beggars lurking
along the outskirts of
pressed parchment shade

no,
no help without a clause
no sympathy without pause
no hope without chaos
no bets without odds
no one to lead
the sterling steed
to shuffle the corrugated deck
and deal the cards

indentured servitude

indentured servitude

you have slit the wrists
from your eyes
crying while dying
silently
for pebbled masters

cadillac attack

cadillac attack

a tacky black
bric-a-brac
hacky sack jack
cracked a track
along its back
with a clackety clack
it hacked
and packed
and stacked
and whacked a pact
with alacrity shacked
it smacked
and snacked
and sneered right back
as a matter of fact
it was
a cadillac attack

something
has kept me alive
this long
because
there have been times
when it has not
been me

Alexander Solzhenitsyn

        Daddy’s Favorite Roosky

  Alexander Solzhenitsyn,
  You lovable tub of lard,
They hung you by your toenails
  In the gulag penal yard.

But, all in all, you’re not so bad,
  Even Harvard loves you truly!
Indeed, you’ve made an encouraging step:
  You’re my Daddy’s favorite Roosky!

RIP

O Nixonland / Karla

        O Nixonland

O Nixonland, how you weigh down the room!
My 46" rear projection Sony wilts
        and my perfectly decanted cabernet,
(Darioush 2004) sours in your presence.
I am ashamed and currently unrepentant.
Resistance, an armband born (& borne)
by yours truly, impedes my coolness.
I get your political correctness. I do.
And some mid-November I shall lift you up–
your look back will be our look back then.
Another tale of lying men shimmed in
        democracy (Democracy!). Again.
